D H Marrion Ltd is an electrical contracting company established in 1948 by Donald H. Marrion and has maintained its strong family heritage for more than seven decades.

What began as a small family-run operation has steadily grown into a thriving and respected regional business, adapting to industry developments while keeping its original values at the heart of everything it does. Today, the company is proudly led by current directors Laurence and Helen, who continue to uphold the commitment to quality, integrity, and customer care that has defined the business since its early years.

Based in Barnsley, South Yorkshire, D H Marrion Ltd has served both the private and public sectors for well over half a century. During this time, the company has developed an outstanding reputation for its electrical design, installation, and project delivery capabilities.

In 2007, the company worked on the Sinclair Building in Sheffield and received a prestigious Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) award in recognition of the exceptional standard of work achieved on the project. D H Marrion Ltd also proudly maintains a 60-year membership with the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting (NICEIC), reflecting its long-standing commitment to compliance and high-quality workmanship.

Although still operating with a close-knit team of around 20 fully qualified and dedicated electricians, the business has grown significantly from its roots. Many of those who completed their training with the company have chosen to stay long term—continuing the tradition of loyalty and craftsmanship that has shaped D H Marrion Ltd for generations.
